Sweet Clare

Clare is Willow Bough’s owner, lead baker and William Morris fanatic and can be found in the tea rooms most days. Clare’s favourite things to bake include scones (“best in Wimbledon” and “better than the Ritz” are some of the comments customers have made) and shortbread. Clare also enjoys cooking and creating new recipes – you can read her blog here.

When she’s not working Clare is a big fan of theatre and live music (especially classical and country), all things Beatrix Potter and collecting cats (she has two of her own, Bella and Charlie, and looks after two strays, Ginger and Squeaky).

Queen Lisa

Lisa is Willow Bough’s queen of sugar craft and responsible for all of our luxury and celebration cakes. Lisa can usually be found in the tea rooms on Tuesday and Wednesday, but also when a bespoke cake needs to be made.

When she’s not in the kitchen baking or making beautiful cake toppers, Lisa can be found in the stand at AFC Wimbledon supporting them. She also enjoys country music and collecting shoes and watches (she owns hundreds!).

Lisa dreams of more time to read books.




Sandie can usually be found in Willow Bough Tea Rooms on Thursday and Friday and – being passionate about all things vintage – can be easily recognised from her vintage-style dresses! Sandie’s favourite bakes are lemon drizzle, mincemeat cake and gingerbread from her Mum’s recipe.

Away from the tea rooms Sandie, a mother of two, can be found bell ringing in her local church or at home cuddling her three cats, Archie, Aslan and Nutmeg.
